GPPE is the brand of Shanghai Guangping Printing Equipment Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of automated printing and post-press production lines in Shanghai, China, founded in 2000 by Grace He. GPPE designs and manufactures fully automatic printing, slitting, rewinding and packaging lines for POS thermal rolls, self-adhesive label rolls and plotter rolls, as well as flexographic printing presses, commercial digital printing presses and roll tension control systems.

GPPE holds more than 60 national invention and utility model patents. Its quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Shanghai Liyang Certification (No. LY510H8013Q, valid until 19 October 2028), and its fully automatic slitter rewinder packaging lines hold a Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC certificate from UDEM (No. M.2022.206.C78373, valid until 17 October 2027). GPPE lines produce POS, cash register and ATM thermal rolls (standard-core, preprinted and 8–15 mm coreless), non-thermal bond till rolls, small-core label rolls on 0.5–1 inch cores, turret-wound labels on 1–3 inch cores, fan-fold products such as logistics labels and boarding passes, linerless labels, and plotter rolls such as engineering drawing paper, garment pattern paper and vinyl rolls. POS and thermal paper roll lines are available in 650, 1100 and 1500 mm. Label roll and fan-fold lines are available in 330, 450 and 550 mm, and turret label lines for other widths, such as 560 mm, are built to order. Linerless lines are available in 550 and 1100 mm. Plotter roll lines (GP-FAL1100-WP, GP-FAL1500-WP, GP-FAL2000-WP) handle mother rolls of 1100, 1500 and 2000 mm. Full model tables are on the Specifications page.

The high-speed POS line GP-FA1500-WP rewinds at up to 500 m/min with a 25-second cycle for 60 m rolls. The preprinted and coreless POS lines rewind at up to 300 m/min. The small-core label line rewinds at up to 300 m/min with a 13-second cycle for 10 m rolls, and the turret label line reaches 130 cycles per hour for 45 m rolls. Plotter roll lines rewind at up to 500 m/min, and fan-fold lines run at 150 m/min.

Based on 80 mm × 80 m rolls, 48 g paper, no printing, 24 hours a day and 30 days a month, a 650 mm line converts about 160 tons per month, a 1100 mm line about 260 tons and a 1500 mm line about 360 tons. Cycle times of all lines are on the line capacity page.

Yes. The coreless POS line produces 8–15 mm coreless rolls, and core rolls can be produced on the same line. GPPE plotter roll lines also finish core and coreless rolls on one line.

Yes. Flexo printing is an option on POS, label, fan-fold, linerless and plotter lines, with 1, 2 or more colors and up to 6 colors inline. The preprinted POS line GP-FA1100-WP-2C prints with a registration accuracy of ±0.2 mm.

GPPE fully automatic models are designed to run without an operator standing at every step. One operator can supervise up to three GP-FA1500-WP lines, and on plotter roll lines one worker can handle three machines. Combining printing, slitting, winding, grouping and shrink packaging in one line reduces labor cost by more than 80%.

Label rolls are cut at the label gap with an accuracy of ±1 mm, the roll tail is closed with a label instead of tape, and a special glue design lets the label end peel easily from the core. Pile waste collection means the line does not stop to change waste rolls, and 1, 1.5 and 3 inch quick-change air shafts adjust automatically.

Yes. GPPE developed its first fully automatic linerless converting line in December 2025. It handles master rolls up to 1100 mm wide and runs slitting, rewinding, core loading, shaft loading, tail labeling, conveying, arranging and packaging automatically. Current models are GP-LN550, GP-LN1100, GP-LN550-WP and GP-LN1100-WP for 40–150 gsm material.

Yes. In May 2026 GPPE developed its first business form digital printing machine, which passed customer testing. It prints single-sided and double-sided CMYK on thermal paper, carbonless paper and standard offset paper at 60 m/min, with 1200 dpi resolution and ±0.1 mm registration accuracy. GPPE also builds commercial digital printing presses, flexographic printing presses and web tension control systems; see Custom Factory Automation.

GPPE builds converting lines for POS and thermal paper rolls, self-adhesive label rolls, fan-fold and linerless labels and plotter rolls, plus flexographic and digital printing presses and roll tension control systems. Toilet paper and tissue converting machines, paper making machines, corrugated board printers, forms handling equipment such as decollators and bursters, A4 and other sheet paper machines, and desktop receipt printers are not part of the GPPE range. GPPE makes only the lines shown on this website.

The price depends on the configuration: machine width, semi-automatic or fully automatic operation, the number of printing colors, core or coreless rolls and the packaging options. Yes. Experienced GPPE engineers provide on-site installation, production line debugging and startup support, and train operators on daily operation, safety procedures, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

GPPE equipment comes with a 12-month warranty. GPPE provides 24-hour online support for remote troubleshooting, spare parts support and lifetime after-sales support. Details are on the Service page.

GPPE is headquartered in Shanghai and works with overseas service teams and regional partners in countries including Italy, Germany, France, Russia, Turkey, Brazil and Malaysia, supported by remote service from the headquarters.

GPPE follows a documented incoming inspection procedure: customer drawings and technical requirements are confirmed and signed before production, measuring tools are calibrated, key dimensions are measured and recorded, nonconforming parts are isolated and never used, and qualified parts are labeled and stored. Every machine is inspected before delivery.

Machines are sealed in protective film, packed in numbered wooden crates for easy checking on arrival, and loaded and secured in containers for sea freight by the GPPE team.

Yes. Visitors are registered, receive safety training and then tour the Shanghai factory to see the production lines, equipment in use and the manufacturing process. Contact GPPE to arrange a visit.
