FAQ
Common Questions About Label Roll Lines
Can GPPE build a turret label line wider than 550 mm?
Yes, as a custom build. Standard GPPE turret label lines are 330, 450 and 550 mm wide; a 560 mm (22 inch) web, for example, is built to order. The turret line runs 1000 mm OD mother rolls and finished rolls down to 41 mm wide, with a web guide and a splicing table as standard.
Can roll-end labels be printed inline by thermal transfer?
Yes, as a custom option. GPPE label lines close each roll tail with a label instead of tape, and inline thermal-transfer printing of these roll-end labels can be built into the turret line on request.
How many printing colors can a turret label line have?
Turret label lines, including the 330 mm model, can be built with 1 to 6 flexo printing colors; the customer chooses the number of colors.
